FireFox

hello i figured my first post should be on a topic of your web Browser.

Firefox:
the most used Browser on the Internet.1 It has become popular for its customization and free control over your browser.
Security:
With Firefox 3 are some amazing addons that make my life a lot easier.
a few to mention are NoScript which is a popular script stopper.
no script is nice because you can decide to active or deactivate script and JavaScript at your discretion on a site per site decision. unlike IE, Chrome, and other browsers that only allow you to turn it on or off globally with this addon you can let JavaScript run on Youtube but not on a site that has hazardous scripts which protects you from viruses and malware. admitidly it can be really anoying at first because almost every site uses some forum of scripts... so you will at first have to go to all the sites you normally go to and start making up that white list of yours.

the most important one I like is Adblock+ which removes advertisements on almost every page you go to (which means you can get ride of the adsense on my page... if you like). I use this because get annoyed at the loud and noisy ads that scream at you... a lot of you probably have heard them. with that i use the rick752 for the definitions this is a well known and updated definition list for adblock+.... it is amazing to go to sites like facebook or myspace and not see the annoying text and graphical flash adds.
on top of that i like adding the easyprivacy by rick752 which helps protect you from stats and web bugs and analysis which is taking in your information when you go to a site.
If there is ever an ad that was not picked up or i just do not like how a page looks rick752's abp element hiding helper does help a lot and is easy to use. For example a lot of people use myspace and will probably know the layout of their welcome screan.... well some things on there that I find annoying are people you may or cool new videos boxes that and the my bulletin space (which i think is spam personally). these are easy to get ride of with the element hiding helper.

Privacy Browsing addon because sometimes i just don't feel like people need to know where i been going on the interenet. i share the computer with my family and some times i just don't feel like some things should be shared. That and when i am running firefox off my USB and using it at my college, don't want to leave personal infomation behind.

which is done with an addon to firefox called greesemonkey with a script by stojshic
with many other scripts that you can install to make the Internet look and feel your own.

there are many other things you can do with your web browser that can change is appearance

Firefox on the Go
If you want to use Firefox but you work at the office and they do not allow you to install anything on the computers or at the library or your schools computer lab where you can not install things. Good New you can run it off your USB :D Portable apps has a nice selection of programs that you can run off your USB... it is kinda like U3 for scandisk but free.
here is the link to their firefox app http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable
you do not need install their app program you can download and install the firefox alone if you like... though i have to admit the app progam is kinda nice and keeps everything organized.

well here is a start to my blog.... hope you like it.
