New Generation Kindles

While Amazon is still selling Kindle 3 with keyboard they are not moving into the android market. They now have 4 different kindles that you can by with one of them being a low end tablet to compete with the likes of ipad competitors. lets look at the new and old Kindles.

First will obvious be the highly anticipated Kindle Fire. This new kindle is a tablet with the same display technology as that of the ipad. it is not a e-ink screen that the kindle has been using. It looks like this kindle is mostly supposed to compete with the nook color and other low end tablets. it has an older android operating system but it also has a very well looking custom design to it. What is nice is that amazon is integrating its already existing services to better connect you with content that you will want to use. For instance Amazon's instance watch video library is being built up to compete with netflix and with many kindle users now having it at their finger tips it should be getting more users using it. With The growing base of users that have it at their finger tips this puts the movie industry more likely to offer better content to amazon to host on their instance watch. But not only does amazon have instance watch for their kindle but they also have it with their MP3 store, amazon android app store, book store, and much more.



the next kindle that came out is their kindle touch. This is a touch version of their kindle. Some improvements that it has over the current kindle is the 2 times the battery life of the old kindle. It now will last 2 months. But not only that they have added new features for you reading books.

They also came out with a very cheap kindle for those that are wanting a smaller and cheaper kindle. This kindle does not have a physical keyboard like the old kindle3 but and does not look to be a touch screen like the kindle above. It has a smaller battery in it with a month battery life like the old kindle3. Though for those that are on a budget or those that don't want a touch screen for their kindle this one is looks great.




though if you want a physical keyboard then you may want to still look at the old kindle3 which is a great kindle.



With all these new kindles coming out it makes me want every single one of them just so I can see the difference.
