Kindle 3 Bookmarks

so i figured i update the list that i had on bookmarks for the kindle. If you want to see my original list and review on the kindle 3 then go here.

Some of these links I have found useful

  • http://foxnews.mobi
  • https://mail.google.com/mail/mu/ (note this is not m.gmail.com which for some reason does not bring you to a mobile version just a html version of gmail.com)
  • http://m.blb.org (better than any kindle bible it has nasb/niv/nkjv/etc)
  • http://www.kindlemap.net (uses google maps but works way better on kindle 3)
  • http://m.wund.com (find your city then just book mark that address so you don't have to look it up each time.)
  • http://mobileread.mobi (great forums and free books and what not authors post their books on there so if you love to read good way to find deals on kindle books and authors advertising their books)
  • http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/mobile/ (i like reading lots of news)
  • http://m.jpost.com (does not work the best but still readable)
  • http://wap.cnet.com  (updated site their old link does not work anymore)
  • http://m.gasbuddy.com (great for finding lowest gas prices)
  • http://m.tripcheck.com (good site if you live in OR-USA)
  • http://mobile.oregonlive.com (news for OR-USA)
his last one is a author of a book and he has the whole book online. it looks just like a book on the kindle and reads the same. you don't need to use article mode on this which is nice. so if your looking to learn some on the history of html and how html5 fits in to the future of web development this is a good book to read. if your wanting his book on this there will be a link at the bottom of this post.

but other than that i hope you enjoy these links as much as i have.  i hope this saves you time searching for some of these links.

best wishes and happy reading from the crew here at Local Tech Repair
